Valley Kit Homes was established circa 1995, and during that time has supplied quality kit homes to satisfied Owner Builders. Most of our knowledgeable clients tackle the construction themselves declaring they have built before. Valley Kit Homes has the product & the expertise to guide our customers through the build. We ensure that the materials supplied are good quality with manufacturer’s warranty and backup customer service.
STEEL FRAME KIT HOMES
All internal frames are delivered pre-assembled ready to stand and are clearly marked as to their position in the building to enable efficient construction.
If you choose to take on the project yourself by either physically undertaking the construction works yourself OR just manage the project while tradesman complete the construction onsite for you (you will need an Owner Builder permit for both of these options). Its advantageous that you are familiar with residential construction. Information for installing the materials supplied is available on the manufacturer’s websites, Lysaght, G James windows, CSR, James Hardie and Hume doors.
The staff at Valley Kit Homes are also on hand to answer questions or offer information or advice you may require.
FLEXIBILITY WITH DESIGN
Our kit homes are suitable for either a concrete ground slab or elevated floor system on stumps. We encourage clients to make their own changes to our standard designs to better suite their lifestyle or if you have your own custom design already drawn, we are happy to provide a quotation for a fee. There is no ‘penalty’ for making changes, the changes are quoted on actual material adjustment. Depending on where your site is, our design may need to be adjusted to comply with Energy Efficiency (BASIX) and Liveable Housing Code. Some of the designs already have some of the features to comply.
